You continue down the trail. It begins to level out, but becomes more difficult in a sense. In this area it’s intersected by multiple other trails at wide angles, making it unclear which branches off and which is the main trail. The icy, blowing snow and encroaching night don’t help much. Each time you take your map out to check it, it gets soaked, and gets harder to read.
